As the petition grows, I would like to offer to be a possible representative to negotiate with EQUITY RESIDENTIAL, and I am starting to formulate what an “ask” for our community might look like:
This is what I am thinking to request, for the community, but I’m very open to hearing other thoughts:
⁃Rent freeze for 2022
⁃Rent increase for 2023 capped at 3%
⁃This financial help to be absorbed by Equity Residential and have no consequences in terms of salaries or hours on current Versailles Apt employees (Management, Maintenance and Cleaning Crew)

As of right now, I will keep the updates on change.org, but I might also create a FB group or email newsletter.
If anyone wants to make sure they are updated on all the actions taken, please reach out to me and I will make sure you are. The hardest part for me will be sharing the updates with all the Versailles tenants. Anyone who is willing to help in that matter please let me know.
